Oh! Baby Calendula Castile Soap

This non-drying mild soap has a creamy lather and retains moisture to the skin by forming a breathable layer that does not block the skin's natural functions. Be aware that more lather in a baby soap is not necessarily good for your baby. Coconut oil and nut oils (shea, avocado, macadamia) are luxurious additives that adults find very pleasing because they result in more profuse lather. But a baby's gentle skin requires only a mild cleansing and these oils can result in a soap that is harsh and sensitizing.

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by the first pressing of the olive fruit through the cold pressing process and is the preferred grade for moisturizing the skin. Olive oil has reported regenerating affects on the skin tissue as well as the ability to regulate the natural moisturizing system of the skin. Olive oil smooths and softens the skin.

Calendula is gentle, cooling, and soothing. It is the most successful oil for assisting with dry and damaged skin, skin inflammations, rashes, diaper irritations, and other skin disorders and is exceptional for use with the most sensitive skin.

Soap characteristics: Hard bar, low creamy lather, very gentle.

Ingredients include saponified organic extra virgin olive oil and organic calendula. Organic ingredients from Argentina and Spain.

The bar is wrapped in ritual Joss paper.
